Major corrections needed. E-mail if you don't want them in the comments.

Jill

You made 13 false statements about me in one article what kind of writer are you? You need to go back and check your sources and fact check everything you stated about me or remove it immediately. I will be sending a formal letter on Monday demanding a formal retraction. Sincerely Jill Simpson

Glynn Wilson

We tried to reach to with corrections, but since you have not responded:

For starters, the governor of Alabama is Bob Riley, not Rob Riley. Rob is Bob Riley's son.

Whoever wrote this needs to talk to an expert and fix this post.

Justice watcher

I was hopeful that you'd get it right when I saw your listing of Mary Lacy, the former worst prosecutor ever of Boulder, Colo. But nope, you just bought into the PR without knowing the facts. Lacy cleared the Ramseys on the basis of DNA which, in this homicide, makes little difference except to a desperate defense attorney. DNA is only significant in about 30% of criminal cases; in the Ramsey case it is mere artifact. What about the cord that was wrapped around the child's neck -- shouldn't that also have the mysterious DNA that points to an intruder, if Lacy's idea is to be considered valuable? It doesn't. And Lacy's dumb pronouncement ignores tons of other forensic evidence that leads right to the Ramseys, like Patsy's fibers wrapped inside the cord, John's fibers in the crotch of her underwear, the bogus ransom note that is reminiscent of Patsy's writing and speaking style, and more. The problem wasn't finding an intruder -- it was trying to tell a jury which of the two did which act that ended the girl's life. You can't just blame them both -- a jury would want to know more and by hanging together the Ramseys bought their freedom. Read Dr. Cyril Wecht's book "Who Killed JonBenet Ramsey?" for a more educated look at the case.

And speaking of Wecht, why don't you have Mary Beth Buchanan, the PA US Attorney on the list? She wasted millions of taxpayer dollars with a criminal campaign against him for using his office fax machine for personal business. (She's the same monster who put Tommy Chong in prison for 9 months for selling bongs over the Internet.) The Wecht jury deadlocked with jurors saying they kept waiting for evidence that never came from the prosecution, and Buchanan still wants a retrial. That is wasteful spending and disrespectful of the legal process. She should be number one on your list.

Foti fan

You've got it backwards - Charles Foti is a hero to the people of New Orleans. Since when is "involuntary euthanasia" acceptable? That's what Dr. Anna Marie Pou and her nurses did to possibly dozens of viable, elderly patients she refused to evacuate. If the evidence was properly presented to the grand jury, she would be in jail now where she belongs. Instead the then-DA spiked the expert results and buried the case.

gastedmyflabbers

With the possible exception of under-investigating Karr the Ramsey family may take exception to this post and criticism of Lacy. John Ramsey speaks quite highly of Lacy on the DNA project website. http://jonbenetsblogs.blogspot.com/

Also find there a few facts that contradict the information posted here.

ps; Wecht's book was written based on evidence available at that time- - new DNA = old news

It just never stops! These references are not factual just pure speculation and rumor. Those fibers have not been sourced to the Ramseys, period. EVER. And the ransom note has stronger probable author. But don't take my word for it, this is easy enough for anyone to source for themselves.

Jill

You should really read the maintaining integrity section of the texas bars rules of ethics since you advertise on your firm website to do those kinds of cases. Maybe you should look closely at 8.02(A). You have falsely stated Ms Canary managed me. She I believe would legally qualify as a judicial officer that you have made a false statement about. I have had people for two days trying to get this corrected Sir and all the other mistakes you made and stated about me Iam not amused that you have not taken the time to fix these mistakes. This has gone into articles all over the country shame on you for not maintaining your website. Further shame on you for not fixing these mistakes when you know they are wrong. Further shame on you for making false statements about officers of the court.
